Oversee plant activities, ensuring regular and efficient O&M activities and ensuring processes are implemented as per SOPs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee site surveys and provide feedback related to pending work, verifying, filtering out and communicating the issues to the team and the contractor
  • Oversee the completion of pending works in the EPC punch list, ensuring completion before the end of the warranty period
  • Oversee the monitoring of WTG and EBOP SCADA and CMS, ensuring accurate data recording and the proper implementation and functioning of the asset management software
  • Oversee meter readings, monthly invoicing and NPMV reporting, ensuring data accuracy and all legal and regulatory requirements are met
  • Oversee third party Site visits of LTA (Lender Technical Advisor), risk inspectors, EOWI (End of Warranty Inspection) and other technical surveys
  • Lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings with the contractor, assigning tasks to the team for monitoring & reporting of O&M activities
  • Highlight trends, verifying data through pre-defined parameters, conducting root cause analyses and communicating with the contractor for rectification of issues
  • Evaluate WTG energy generation trends, devising a plan in coordination with the team for the maximization of energy production
  • Review EPA, O&M and Operating Procedure documents, ensuring operations as per agreements
  • Coordinate with the EHS Team to ensure all safety protocols are met
  • Conduct O&M analyses, reviewing wind turbine availability, utilizing forecasting measures to reduce downtime loss and providing recommendations for streamlining of internal departmental procedures
  • Communicate with the Head Office Engineering team, submitting all reports, reporting Site information, updates and issues promptly and collaborating on problem solving and decision making 
  • Instruct subordinates, planning & ensuring job enrichment & holistic knowledge of departmental functions
  • Any other task assigned by Site Technical Manager
